![]() ![]() In a self defense case it wont matter what type of gun you use or what type of mod did you have, as long they are LEGAL you will not have a problem. I did my porting job because of the looks, a lot of revolvers, 1911's and glocks have them, there is NOTHING illegal about doing so.Īfter testing it in the range it made my shots more accurate so in a Self Defense scenario my philosophy with a small caliber like the 380 is DOUBLE TAP and I would like them to be as close as possible to the first hit, on the range you have time hold your breath and shoot the target in a real life SD situation, you might never breath again is you take your time to shoot. Start drilling with a small drill bit and go thru the slide and barrel on the same pass, then use the proper size drill bit to enlarge the holes, but make sure that when you are drilling the barrel you dont go far and scratch or drill the other end "bottom" of the barrel, you can insert a pencil inside the barrel to stop the drill bit once you pass the metal. ![]() I lost the drill bits I used so I cant recall the exact size, but I measured the holes with my caliper, I recommend GOOD DRILL BITS, that barrel is HARD. I'm not responsible for any damage to the gun or injury to yourself by doing this modification, it works for me without a problem.Ģ) Nice flash when firing (if done right the flash goes up and not to your face)ģ) Very low recoil = good for follow up shots, accuracy and ladies hands.ġ) It will lower the velocity of the bullet, but still accurate at 15-20yards (keep in mind self defense is less than 5 yards.Ģ) It requires a little more cleaning outside the barrel and underneath the slide. Hope this helps but feel free to ask any questions you may have.Since I have been having a lot of people asking me about specs on my porting job, I tried to make a DIY manual on how to do it. The add button is a little annoying you can add entire folders by selecting everything in them but you can't add multiple folders at a time. This is how I pack Xbox Texture replacer mods myself. When the packing is finished you'll be taken to the Upload mod window,.Ones you have them all added press the pack archive button, a new Xbox archive will be created and places in Data/XB1 folder, it will be correctly named and ready to upload,.locate your assets (any meshes and textures you may need),.click the add button in the top right corner,.click yes and a new empty "Add/Remove files to Archive" window will open,.You'll get a message "An archive might not be necessary. It's best to let the ckit pack your Xbox archive, I don't think Archive2 actully can use the correct file compression but the ckit can.ĭelet the xbox archive you've previously created and try this. I have never successfully packed xbox archives by hand. I'm going with the assumption that you used archive2 to pack your Xbox archives, this is part of your problem. My mailboxes are normal.Ĭan someone please help me out and guide me in what I am doing wrong here? Thank you very much, any help would be appreciated friends and have a great day to anyone reading this. ![]() When I activate it and load my game up however, it will either (i've tried this a few times repacking it not sure what I did different) show the loading screen, crash the game to my xbox dashboard or it will load into the game but none of the textures will show up, as if the mod isnt working. When I download the mod from my XB1, it downloads successfully after fighting with the manager because. When loading my dummy plugin and trying to upload it to for xbox, it recognizes the BA2 file and asks if I want to use it, I say yes and it uploads to. So I do the same thing except this time I package my textures in XboxDDS and put it inside a XB1 folder in my FO4 data folder. Then I zipped the file up and loaded it with Mod Organizer 2 and it does work on my PC, my mailboxes are now orange color but that showed me I did it right. I then tested in on my Steam FO4 by repacking the textures into a BA2 file using Archive2 naming it OrangeMailbox - Textures and then created a dummy plugin with CK naming it OrangeMailbox. I've watched a video on how to create textures for your game, I have extracted the ones I wanted and I created a test texture for a mailbox - specifically I've made it just a solid color orange. ![]()
